1. WrestleMania 7 - 'Macho King' Randy Savage Vs. Ultimate Warrior
This was a retirement match, Warrior won via 3 Shoulderblocks. The post match reunion with Liz and Savage is one of the reasons I love wrestling. Full match review here - http://clarkramonesnonppvs.blogspot.com/2013/06/macho-madness-disc-2.html
2. WrestleMania 26 - Shawn Michaels Vs. Undertaker
The second retirement match on my list, well it is slightly different to Savage/Warrior in that only HBKs career is on the line. I give this the nod over WM 25 match as not only is it HBKs last match but also 25 had the Taker landing on his head thing. I cant post a link to a review here as I haven't typed it into cyber space yet but here's the match itself - http://youtu.be/uZ6Gz1IgQlY
3. WrestleMania 21 - Shawn Michaels Vs. Kurt Angle
Great match, which Angle wins via Submission, nothing else to say. Match - http://youtu.be/t4G6xs3q8Xk
The only issue I have with this match is the cheap ending, but it's only a slight irritation. These two together was always going to be a chance of a classic. Ala HBK/Taker my review is done but not in cyber space, i'll try find the match on YouTube. http://youtu.be/6hW4_mqyhpA
5. WrestleMania 25 - Shawn Michaels Vs. Undertaker
Not as good as WM 26 but still great, how Taker didn't break his neck is beyond me, also HBKs entrance is fantastic. Full match review here - http://wwe-jan-may.blogspot.com/2012/10/wrestlemania-25.html Match - http://youtu.be/N2bk4D0cWls
6. WrestleMania 24 - Shawn Michaels Vs. Ric Flair
Another retirement match as if Flair lost he had to retire, he did lose and he didn't retire, well technically he retired from WWE. 'Sorry, I love you' sums this up. Match - http://youtu.be/AyVqG7vnV1Q
7. WrestleMania X - Owen Hart Vs. Bret Hart
Brother Vs. Brother. Bret had a WWF Title match later in the evening Vs. Yokozuna, smart booking here though as Owen won this match and then when Bret won the WWF Title later Owen was a ready made challenger. Match - http://youtu.be/kCuS8cAA8UQ
8. WrestleMania 13 - Bret Hart Vs. Stone Cold
Submissions match, though nobody actually quits. This is remembered for the double turn as Bret became the loved in Canada/hated in US guy soon after and fans loved Stone Cold the rebel face. Match ends with Stone Cold passing out to SharpShooter, his willingness to not quit and the picture of him in pain with blood pouring down his face are memorable for me from this.
